	SCENE 2	Inspired by the sight of the firemen, Big Bird has decided to become one too.

	SCENE 3	Big Bird hasn't found any fires to put out so far, but catches a whiff of smoke coming from Hooper's Store. The smell is coming from the grill, which Tom is using to cook hamburgers. Big Bird goes off to find some fire he can fight.
	Transition	Bridge #4 - 4 Corner Bridge B
	Muppets	Betty Lou teaches the meaning of "beginning", "middle", and "end", and introduces two of her friends: Beginning and End. The duo tell a story, but it lacks something in between the beginning and end parts. Beginning and End recruit their pal Middle to fill out the rest of the story. Middle, however, cannot stop telling the exciting part of the story, and the three friends begin a quarrel, forcing Betty Lou to declare the end of the lecture. (First: Episode 0138)

	SCENE 4	Big Bird still has found any fires yet. He decides to go back to his nest and finish preparing the cake he was baking earlier. He realizes he never took it out of the oven and sees smoke coming from behind his doors. The ever-brave firebird begins calling for help.

	SCENE 5	Tom puts out Big Bird's burning stove with the store's fire extinguisher. Big Bird admits he'll never be a fireman, or a baker.
	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Bert tells Ernie not to eat cookies in bed, because he might get crumbs in the bed, and then he'll get crumbs in his pajamas, itch, and not be able to sleep. Ernie decides to eat cookies in Bert's bed instead.
	Cast	Gordon notices two groups of potato sacks with the wrong numbers matted above them: the group of two has the number 3, and the group of 3 has the number 2. He and Bob cooperate to carry one sack from one group to the other. (First: Episode 0178)
	SCENE 6	Gordon introduces the IG sound, as in the word BIG. He unfolds a giant sheet of paper to reveal a large print version of the word.

	Cartoon	"K" - Kangaroo - A man (voiced by Gary Owens) explains what a kangaroo is, and ends up in the pouch of one. (First: Episode 0141)
	SCENE 9	A Muppet girl enters the store and asks for a letter too. Tom assumes she's a relation to Kenneth and would like a K too. Instead, she says her name is Zoe Zelda Zelinka Zabriskie, earning her a letter Z.
