SCENE 3 | David is airing out a rug he found in the attic of the garage while Gordon lines up a shot of the arbor with his camera. As Big Bird enters the frame, Gordon asks him to hold his position and takes his picture. It instantly develops and comes out so nice, Big Bird decides he'll send it to his mother.
After David follows Gordon inside to check out his other camera, Mr. Snuffleupagus comes along giving Big Bird the idea to photograph him to proves he's real to everyone else. Snuffy sticks around long enough to pose for Big Bird before deciding he'd better be shuffling off. David and Gordon return with Susan and they're greeted by an excited Big Bird who can't wait to show them a picture of the snuffleupagus. Gordon retrieves the photo from the camera, but as they inspect it, it appears to be a close-up of David's rug airing out on the railing. Big Bird tries to explain that he was just too close, but the adults aren't having any of it. | |
