SCENE 1 | Gordon and Luis hear the very loud sound of a siren coming from Oscar's trash can. Sure enough, Oscar is enjoying the sound it makes as he cranks his own personal siren, but everyone insists that he cut out the racket. A police car passes, and Oscar wants to know why policemen can have a siren and he can't. Luis explains the important reasons why, and Oscar decides to become a policeman.

SCENE 2 | Again, the sound of a siren blasts through Sesame Street. When Luis and Gordon come to complain, they discover Oscar (wearing a policeman's cap and badge) happily playing with his siren. If policemen can have sirens, then Oscar will be a policeman -- that is, until Luis and Gordon remind him that policemen have to do nice things for people. This thought destroys Oscar's desire to be a policeman. An ambulance blaring a siren passes by, and Oscar has a new idea. He'll become a doctor!
