	SCENE 1	Luis must leave the Fix-It Shop for a while, and asks Big Bird to mind the store for him; he's to take whatever customers bring in, and have them put their name on it. Molly brings her kettle to be fixed, and Mr. Hooper brings in his radio. Big Bird decides to surprise Luis, and fix both the kettle and the radio.

	SCENE 2	When Luis returns, he finds a kettle that plays music and a radio that sprays out steam. Big Bird has succeeded in surprising Luis, but not in the way he thought.
	Muppets	Happening upon the ice cream man, Ernie wants to buy a chocolate - strawberry - peach - vanilla - banana - pistachio - peppermint - lemon - orange - butterscotch ice cream cone, but the ice cream vendor instead gives him a butterscotch - orange - lemon - peppermint - pistachio - banana - vanilla - peach - strawberry - chocolate ice cream cone. 	SCENE 3	Molly delivers Mr. Hooper’s mail, which is mostly bills. He explains to Big Bird that bills are letters that tell you that you owe money for something you've already bought. Mr. Hooper tells him that if he didn't pay the candy company, they wouldn't send him any more candy; if he didn't pay the magazine company, they wouldn't send him any more magazines; if he didn't pay the electric company, they would shut off his electricity and he wouldn't have any lights. Knowing this, Big Bird pays him a nickel in advance for a bag of birdseed he’ll get later.
	Muppets	Waiter Grover: Mr. Johnson wants a bowl of hot alphabet soup, and he really wants it to be hot. He looks to make sure that each letter of the alphabet is in his soup, but he is missing some. By the time Grover brings in all the missing letters, the soup is cold. (First: Episode 0276)

	Muppets	Herbert Birdsfoot invents a complicated machine, to test Cookie Monster's problem-solving abilities. Cookie Monster needs to pull the string to raise the glass cover off the plateful of cookies at the other end -- but when he lets go to retrieve the cookies, the cover will fall again. Herbert hears Cookie Monster approaching, and hides to observe him. Cookie investigates the machine for a moment, then gets the cookies by karate-chopping the glass cover. (First: Episode 0132)

	SCENE 7	It's time to play "What's the Sound?" Mr. Hooper puts a milkshake on the mixing machine; we hear a clanking noise, an auto engine noise, and a mixer noise. Luis hits Oscar's trash can; we hear chimes, a bass drum, and clanging.
	Muppets	Kermit's Lectures: Kermit talks about hands, with some assistance from a human hand. Kermit counts the hand's fingers and lists off various things it can do. The hand gradually becomes more aggressive with Kermit in demonstrating, but the two eventually make up by shaking hands.
