Tom explains that the store has been set up as a vaccination clinic today and Susan has volunteered some time away from her nursing job to help out. Big Bird meets Dr. Marzullo (played by Madge Sinclair) who's administering the measles shot, and gets in line behind the kids to get one of his own. |

SCENE 3 | Mr. Snuffleupagus tells Big Bird that he got his measles shot last week, but he wonders if he could get a free balloon anyway. He walks over to the store and uses his snuffle to tap on Dr. Marzullo's shoulder through the window. She doesn't look up from her paperwork during the discussion, but she agrees to grant his request. As she turns to hand over the balloon, Dr. Marzullo is shocked when she places it in the snuffle of the creature before her who has now rendered her speechless. |

After Snuffy leaves, Susan and Tom enter the store to see if the doctor is all finished for the day. Dr. Marzullo is reeling from her experience and struggles to explain what's just happened to her; it's too silly. Refusing to explain what's happened to her, she simply tells Susan and Tom that she's going home to take a nice, long rest. |
