Rafael and Tom approach from the outside and find the ball, assuming Big Bird left it there for them. They lean against the doors and read the newspaper while they wait for Big Bird. Snuffy taps Rafael on the shoulder with his snuffle as he looks for the ball; Rafael assumes Tom tapped him, which Tom denies. Snuffy then taps Tom’s shoulder, and the same thing happens. Big Bird then comes back to find the two arguing, and wants to introduce Tom and Rafael to Snuffy whom he claims is not a "fig newton of his imagination." Before he opens the door, Snuffy leaves in shame that he lost Big Bird’s ball. Big Bird opens the door, only to once again find no Snuffleupagus. | |
