	SCENE 1	Big Bird welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street, and introduces Mr. Snuffleupagus, who promises to stay put until Big Bird brings his friends over.

	SCENE 3	Oscar is tired of seeing you and all the other happy people on Sesame Street, so he disguises himself as a little girl named Melody. Tom encounters “Melody”, who says that Oscar doesn't live here anymore, and Tom walks away with the ratty sneaker he was going to give to Oscar, but Oscar becomes himself again and calls Tom over. Tom flip-flops on whether to give the sneaker to Oscar or Melody, causing Oscar to duck in and out of costume over and over.

	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Ernie can't sleep, so Bert tells him to count sheep. Ernie tries to count sheep, but it's dull -- so he starts counting fire engines. The noise from the imaginary fire engine wakes Bert up. Bert says that Ernie's waking up the whole neighborhood, and tells him to count something quieter. Ernie counts balloons -- but the balloon gets bigger and bigger, finally bursting with a huge explosion that wakes Bert up again. (First: Episode 0276)

Ernie doesn't like pumpkin seed candy, so the salesman offers him a deal--a smaller piece of pumpkin seed candy is better because it will not disgust Ernie as much, and he can have that one for a nickel, too. This continues, until he succeeds in selling Ernie a piece of pumpkin seed candy so small that Ernie can't even see it. (First: Episode 0264)

Ralph instructs him to make his head smaller by squeezing it, but that doesn’t work. Instead, Ralph tears off the entire collar section from the shirt, which makes it fit Wally.
