SCENE 1 Big Bird sees Mr. Snuffleupagus is on the block and tells him to stay put while he tries finding someone to see him. However, everyone he asks (Tom, Maria, Oscar and Rafael) have no patience for any more of his talk about his imaginary friend. Big Bird becomes upset and convinces himself that Snuffy really is imaginary as everyone says. Snuffy tries to get his attention, but Big Bird retreats to his nest. Snuffy begins to sob.

SCENE 2 Big Bird heads toward the arbor, telling Snuffy to leave him alone and never return. Snuffy sadly agrees to comply and gives him a goodbye tap with his snuffle. Big Bird realizes that if he can feel Snuffy tapping him, then he must be real after all! The two have a heartfelt embrace.

Big Bird would later be convinced that Snuffy was imaginary in Episode 0731.

Ernie and Bert decide that if the chair can hold two, it can hold three as well, so they cram their way into the chair with Herry. When Ernie and Herry realize that they're watching something only Bert would enjoy, they leave Bert alone.

SCENE 5 Rafael sets out three trash cans on the sidewalk for trash collection. Tom angrily complains that the cans are blocking the entrance to Hooper's Store and tells Rafael to move them. As Rafael recounts this to Maria at the Fix-It Shop, Tom drops by. He explains that he's having some trouble at home and was taking out his frustrations on Rafael. He apologizes and offers him some free coffee.

Muppets Ernie explains how a scale can determine what is heavier than another object. With the scale, he was planning to split some cookies with Bert, but can't figure out how to do it. Cookie Monster shows him his way of solving the problem: he eats the cookies off each side of the scale until there are no cookies left. Ernie is disappointed since all he's left with is a "really good scale". Cookie disagrees--he's tasted better.
