After she has to leave him alone for a few minutes, Kermit fears that his friends will worry about not knowing where he is, so he leaves to inform them. | |

They suddenly overhear him talking to Tracy at the window, explaining that he's being taken care of. Susan scolds him for being out of bed, and orders him back inside. When he's gone, Susan begins to concede that he's just lonely, then hears Kermit talking to someone else nearby. | |
SCENE 4, cont'd | Susan finds Kermit talking to Big Bird through the window over his nest and expresses his inability to get better if he doesn't go back to bed. Kermit claims he was on his way there anyway, and rushes away from the window before returning to properly say goodbye to Big Bird. | |
