SCENE 1 | Gordon and the kids count three different-sized wrenches on the Fix-it Shop table, with Gordon writing the number 3 on a pad of paper. Luis grabs one for a job, making it two, causing Gordon to crumple up the 3 sheet and write the number 2 on a blank one. Luis then grabs another wrench, making it one, so Gordon crumples up the 2 sheet and writes the number 1 on a blank sheet. Luis then grabs the last wrench, making it zero. Gordon crumples up the 1 sheet as they have nothing left to count – but one of the kids realizes they can count the three balls of paper. They do so, until Luis picks those up too, reminding everyone not to litter. |
