First, he counts to 10, then turns his back, and counts to 10 again. He's impressed by his joke, but Susan challenges him to count down from 10 to 1 and leads the viewer for the count.

Big Bird realizes that the important thing he wanted to tell Luis was that he was supposed to have lunch with him today, and rushes back to his nest.
