SCENE 2 Sam the Robot is upset; being a robot, he doesn't have a sense of humor. David, Susan, Bob, and Gordon help him out by telling him a couple of jokes. Sam uses his computer to check each joke, and a gauge on his side shows whether the joke is good or bad. After deeming a couple of jokes good, Sam feels confident and wants to try out his new jokes. He tells one to Big Bird, but manages to mix the two jokes together. Luckily, they both think it's funny.

Oscar observes them playing and suggests his Grouch version of the game, where everyone tries to get their beanbags through the keyhole of the door. Since that's an impossible game to win, everybody pelts Oscar with the beanbags instead (which he somewhat enjoys).

SCENE 6 Big Bird watches Bob and the other kids petting a puppy. Big Bird thinks it would be more fun to be a dog than a bird, and starts barking. Bob and the others show him that dogs do things that he doesn't usually do, such as fetch the newspaper. Bob sticks a newspaper into his beak as an example, but Big Bird doesn't like the taste of newspaper. He also doesn't like the idea of not getting to go into Hooper's Store on account of the "no dogs allowed" sign. Big Bird breaks the news to the puppy that he's decided to stay a bird, and starts happily tweeting.

Muppets Grover asks Little Jerry and the Monotones (who are tired and don't seem to care about what they are doing) to hold up signs with letters that make up the word "walk". When Grover tells them what it spells, they walk over him.
