Big Bird questions the possibilities of a juggler (portrayed by Gordon) that was juggling baseballs, then a carnival barker (Bob) that used the vase as a target for a customer (Maria). Eventually he confesses that he broke the vase, and Luis thanks him for being honest about his mistake. | |

SCENE 3 | Mr. Snuffleupagus wants to join Big Bird in playing baseball, but Big Bird warns him about the incident with Luis's vase. Snuffy suggests that he bats the ball in the opposite direction so that it won't get near the vase. They begin to play and Snuffy throws his famous snuffle-pitch, but the ball stays in the air spinning in circles. Snuffy goes home to practice his pitching some more, while the ball eventually makes it to Luis’s vase and breaks it again.
