SCENE 1 | Maria welcomes the viewer from her window, and observes the cold weather. Bob calls across from his apartment with information from a weather report that it might even snow, and offers her an extra sweater. As they go down, Big Bird arrives, loudly announcing that he's prepared for the weather as he wears a set of winter clothes from his Granny Bird. However, he's got his mittens on his beak, his earmuffs around his neck, and his scarf wrapped around one of his legs. Everyone helps him to dress properly, but he continues to shout about bracing himself for Old Man Winter. Bob and Maria surprise him by wrapping his scarf around his beak to keep it nice and warm... and quiet. | |
