He gives it a try by twisting his head so he can look upside-down, and observes Gordon throwing the basketball down instead of up, then sees Maria going up the stairs instead of down, and a kid who drops his ice cream cone up. He sees that Luis is still right-side up, but is baffled when he turns his head back around to see that Luis is now upside-down.
