	SCENE 1	Big Bird has been thinking about up and down lately, and wonders what the world would be like if everything was topsy-turvy. He gives it a try by twisting his head so he can look upside-down, and observes Gordon throwing the basketball down instead of up, then sees Maria going up the stairs instead of down, and a kid who drops his ice cream cone up. He sees that Luis is still right-side up, but is baffled when he turns his head back around to see that Luis is now upside-down.

	SCENE 2	Big Bird notices Susan tearing up one of Gordon’s shirts. He assumes they had a terrible fight, and that Susan had taken Gordon's shirt from the clothesline and is ripping it apart in anger. Big Bird begs her to stop, and tries to keep Gordon from dumping the bucket of water he brings over onto her; as it turns out, she’s tearing up the old shirt so they can both reuse it as rags and clean their dirty windows.
	Cartoon	Christopher Clumsy jumps over a hole and says that he fooled the viewer. He then walks into a wall. (First: Episode 0439)
	Muppets	Grover the Assistant: Grover volunteers to assist the Amazing Mumford in his suspension act. Grover will get on top of a platform, and Mumford will pull the pillar off from underneath, and the platform will not fall. The trick works, so Grover decides to try it himself, with Herry Monster as his assistant. Grover can't pull it off, and Herry falls. (First: Episode 0292)

	Cast	Gordon is a street corner salesman hawking umbrellas. No one wants to buy them on a hot sunny day, but then it rains. Gordon sells all his umbrellas, but then doesn't have one himself, so he uses his box instead. (Jerry Nelson narrates).

	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Bert tells Ernie not to eat cookies in bed, because he might get crumbs in the bed, and then he'll get crumbs in his pajamas, itch, and not be able to sleep. Ernie decides to eat cookies in Bert's bed instead. (First: Episode 0282)

	SCENE 4	Luis encounters Oscar admiring his new pieces of trash, which each have something missing. Luis doesn't consider the things trash and has the kids guess which parts are missing from each item – the roller-skate is missing a wheel, the doll is missing an arm, and a schoolbag is missing its handle. Luis fixes each one thusly, which upsets Oscar and makes himself missing from the group by retreating into his trash can.
