SCENE 1 Maria observes Oscar putting up a "WET PAINT" sign on his trash can, thinking it will trick everybody into believing that he painted the can and they'll stay away. Shortly after Maria leaves, Gordon walks by and sees the sign, not believing Oscar actually painted the can. Gordon knocks on Oscar's can to inform him that the "paint" is dry; the same thing happens when Luis passes by, so Oscar angrily removes his sign. Moments later, Maria comes back and knocks on Oscar's trash can to tell him somebody took down the sign, frustrating Oscar enough to bang his head against his can lid.
