SCENE 1 Luis shows off his new hat, but notes that the box got mangled a bit on the bus ride home. Oscar is in awe of its color and structure, so Luis says since he loves it so much, he'll give it to him. When he places the hat on Oscar's head, Oscar scoffs: he was talking about the beat-up box it came in.

SCENE 2 Big Bird enters Hooper's Store and asks David for a bag of bird seed big enough to share with his cousin Everette. David produces such a bag, but Big Bird then requests a bigger one so he can share with Mrs. Rodriguez's parrots. David obliges with a bigger bag, but Big Bird has just remembered he's having an engagement party for a sparrow friend of his with 200 guests coming, so he needs the biggest bag they've got. David carts out the biggest bag of bird seed, but Big Bird has one final request: place the bird seed in individual bags so he can hand them out to each of his friends.

Sinister Sam leaves the baffled customers behind. "Now, that's a nice gesture," one says. "He's a little weird, but he's okay after all, isn't he?"
