He tries to get the attention of Mr. Hooper, Gordon, Luis, and Bob as they pass by, though none of them become aware of what Big Bird needs help with. He thinks nobody cares about him and throws a temper tantrum, which attracts all the concerned grown-ups to come over. His friends tell him that all he had to do was ask; Big Bird does so, and everyone helps carry the box to his nest.
