SCENE 2 Mr. Hooper asks Big Bird to mind the store for him while he makes some deliveries. Big Bird agrees to do so, but gets a call from Mrs. Wheeler, who needs a dozen eggs. He steps out to deliver the eggs to her, but Mr. Hooper scolds him when he gets back, thinking he didn't follow his instructions. They get into a heated argument, until Mr. Hooper apologizes, and decides that he himself can run the store while Big Bird makes the deliveries.
