The troll reveals himself to be a handsome prince, who will grant her any wish. She asks him to cut down the tree and bring it to her house.

He tells Big Bird that he's helping a lady going to Detroit who has four suitcases, but he can only find three of them. The Kids help Snuffy by singing "Here Are Some Things" in relation to three flowered suitcases, and one plain suitcase.

SCENE 4 Mr. Hooper is on the phone in Hooper's Store taking an order from Mrs. Goldwater. Big Bird rushes in and has a request from Gordon that he can't remember. After Mr. Hooper lists a few things in the store that it could be, Big Bird remembers that it rhymes with door β€” Gordon needs help with the door. Mr. Hooper and Big Bird rush over to the top of the steps at 123 Sesame Street to help Gordon with the door, but they're too late and he drops his boxes, breaking them.

SCENE 5 Officer Krupky is looking for someone on Sesame Street named Maria who is Puerto Rican, has black, curly hair, and dark eyes. He describes her and shows her picture to Mr. Hooper, and then Gordon, who point him in Maria's direction, but can't be told why a police officer is looking for her because it's official business. He finds Maria, confirms that she is Puerto Rican, has black, curly hair, and dark eyes, and tells her he's there on official police business. When Maria asks what she can do to help, Officer Krupky holds up a card with the word "beso" on it, and he needs her to translate it for him. Maria takes off his hat, gives him a kiss on the head, and tells him it means "kiss". Krupky wonders why he gets all the mushy assignments.
