He joins Luis tip-toeing around together, but they don't find anyone else. They head back to the store where Cookie Monster is inside, unattended, and he's just finished eating a batch of cookies. Getting cold standing around in one spot, he invites her to go in Hooper's Store for a cup of hot cocoa. He tries to take her hand, but finds that her hands are like ice. Promising to warm her up, he tells her not to go away, and rushes off. | |

While Big Bird sits in the shop alone, he notices all the sounds he can hear in the relative quiet. He begins with the ticking of the clock, until he can hear someone wiping the snow off their feet at the door. Luis has returned and tries to get in, but he's locked himself out. Big Bird points out all the sounds he makes trying to get in, and eventually tells him he'll have to wait outside for a few minutes until the shop opens again. | |
