SCENE 1 Big Bird uses Susan's old eye chart to test Snuffy's eyesight, but Snuffy gets all the letters wrong. Big Bird says his mother should know how terrible his eyesight is. Snuffy insists his eyesight is just fine β€” he helps his mommy thread needles all the time β€” it's just that he can't read.

Film Several people help a man when his car is stuck in the mud.
SCENE 2 The water in Maria's apartment is off, so Mr. Hooper says she can wash her dirty dishes in Hooper's Store. He gives her and Luis some boxes to carry them over; on the way, Oscar the Grouch greets them, but gets a cold reception. He figures it's because he hasn't done anything to help them lately, so when they temporarily leave the box of dishes next to his can, he dirties them up even more. Maria is horrified when she finds them, so Oscar offers never to help again.
Muppets Ernie & Bert β€” Ernie has gone shopping -- buying bread for himself, and peanut butter for Bert. They realize that it's dull to eat what they have separately, and they decide to cooperate, so they can each have a peanut butter sandwich.

Muppets Cookie Monster encounters a green napkin. Every time he squeezes the napkin, a new number appears, allowing Cookie to count up to twenty. This creeps him out, but what's even more creepy is when Kermit shows up inside the napkin at the end of the bit -- he's also green, after all.

Muppets Kermit explains how a weather calendar works, with Cookie Monster's assistance. Kermit tells Cookie to place them on the right spot on the weather map. After completing the weather map, Cookie decides to produce sounds of the weather. He pours the contents of a watering can for rain, for wind, blew a few blows of air for wind. Kermit asks what sound sunshine makes, Cookie Monster devours the sun symbol.

SCENE 3 Maria sits on the steps of 123 Sesame Street about to talk about the letter I when Oscar interjects and says that his trained fly Frank wants to talk about the letter K. They agree that whomever can make the best-looking letter will get to talk about it. Maria draws an I on the back of the card, but Frank produces a beautifully lavish K. Maria admits defeat as Frank begins talking about the letter K in a series of indiscernible buzzings.

He pretends it's a phone, and gives it to Bert to talk on. Ernie answers the real phone, and tells the caller that Bert can't come to the phone because he's talking on the banana.

They try various methods of stabilizing the table, finally settling on using the board game. Without access to the game, they decide to play with the brick instead.
