He imagines what might have happened, such as Mr. Mac being invited to play stickball with Gordon and the kids, or leaving to watch a parade march down Sesame Street. At worst, Big Bird wonders if Mr. Mac ended up chasing after a thief (portrayed by a masked Bob) who's stolen some apples from him. Big Bird sees Mr. Mac coming outside of 123 Sesame Street with Susan and offers to help catch the thief with him.
