He tries to get David's attention over the noise, making a “TELEPHONE” sign and pointing him to the phone. David finally turns off the machine and goes to the phone, but no one's on the line. David chides Big Bird for wasting his time, but Big Bird gets an idea. He does the same thing again, but when David picks up the phone, Big Bird tells him to hang on, because someone will be on the line soon. Big Bird rushes back to his nest and places his birdseed order over the phone, unaware that he could have asked David for it while he was there. | |
