In response, he produces a sign he's made with a definitive answer to their plea: "NO". They continue to urge him on, asking for his help, so Oscar emerges from his can with a bigger sign to help send the same message. Still his neighbors persist, so Oscar reveals the biggest sign of the three to really drive home his response. They all thank him and explain that he's inadvertently helped them teach big, bigger, and biggest after all.
