SCENE 1 | Maria, David, Gordon, and the kids pester Oscar the Grouch at his can about helping them teach the audience the concept of big, bigger, and biggest, but he's not having it. In response, he produces a sign he's made with a definitive answer to their plea: "NO". They continue urge him on, asking for his help, so Oscar emerges from his can with a bigger sign to help send the same message. Still his neighbors persist, so Oscar reveals the biggest sign of the three to really drive home his response. They all thank him as Maria explains that he's inadvertently helped them teach big, bigger, and biggest after all. | |

SCENE 2 | Grover has designated himself the Official Sesame Street Safety Monitor and uniformed himself appropriately. He spots Maria in the yard taking a nap in a chair and notes that her shoelaces are untied, which is very dangerous. As she sleeps, he attempts to tie her laces, but finds that it's more difficult than he realized, and ties her shoes together in several knots. When she wakes up, she says she loosened her laces to relax, but intended to tie them again after her nap. Grover explains that he's done this for her, so she gathers her books and begins to continue on with her day, but stumbles and falls. Grover berates her for not watching where she's going. | |

David finds the scenario ridiculous, but Grover manages to convince him to stack the boxes in front of the door. Tired from all the work, Grover turns to go inside for a soda, but knocks over all the boxes. | |

SCENE 4 | Grover makes his Safety Monitor rounds outside Big Bird's nest where he finds a big mound of brown, shaggy fur blocking the door. He walks around to Big Bird who's playing checkers with Mr. Snuffleupagus and explains the situation. When Snuffy gets up so they can inspect the door, he moves out of the way and Big Bird doesn't see a blocked door. Snuffy sits back down, and when Grover makes his way around the front again, he's sees the door blocked as before. He explains his frustration to Gordon and Maria who accompany him to see what's going on, but when he returns, Big Bird says they finished the game of checkers and Snuffy went home. Grover pauses and tells Big Bird that he has some imagination. | |
