	SCENE 1	Big Bird finds David dozing at the door of Hooper's Store. David explains that he was up late last night studying for a law school exam, but had promised Mr. Hooper to take care of the store the next day. Big Bird offers to help him stay awake by opening the window to get some fresh air (coughing slightly from the smog) and turning on the radio, but neither help. David admits to thinking about being in his warm, cozy bed, which winds up putting himself and Big Bird to sleep.
	Muppets	Caveperson Days: King Ernie has a problem -- the cavemen write everything on rocks, which are too heavy to carry around. He calls upon the Royal Smart Person to invent something lighter to write on. (First: Episode 0409)

	SCENE 2	Maria insists David go home and sleep believing that Mr. Hooper would understand, but David insists on keeping his promise. He does take Big Bird up on his idea to turn his lunch hour into a "nap hour" while the bird watches the store (though Maria reassures David she'll keep an eye on him). Big Bird almost does noisy things like hammering up some posters or vacuuming the floor, but Maria quickly prevents him from doing so. Maria loudly panics when she sees Big Bird carrying a stack of ten egg cartons, which wakes up an annoyed David. "Since when, Maria, do you have to worry about a bird carrying eggs, huh?" asks Big Bird.
	Muppets	Grover asks Frazzle about his day, and Frazzle responds with growls to demonstrate how he felt. (First: Episode 0491)

Lefty points out the elephants, which are actually spaces in the tree's branches. Ernie shells out for the picture. 	SCENE 5	Mr. Hooper makes his way to the store as Maria plays jumprope with the kids. He notices she's worried, and Maria tells him about David's condition. Mr. Hooper doesn't get upset and understands where David is coming from, and thinks he has an idea...

	SCENE 5 cont'd	Mr. Hooper teases David (who attempts to stay alert) by asking him to test a new product all afternoon long. Though David is worried it will require a lot of extra work, the product turns out to be a hammock hanging in the yard, allowing him to get some much-needed sleep.
