SCENE 1 At Hooper's Store, David is getting ready to send back a box of plastic cups, since he ordered paper cups instead. He explains to Bob that he prefers the paper cups over the plastic ones for environmental reasons (that and he fears what would happen if Big Bird got near glass cups). Bob helps him take the box out to the curb for the deliveryperson to pick up, but canโ€™t stick around to watch the store while David goes to the library, which is closing soon. Instead, David asks Big Bird to watch the store, and runs off to the library. Now alone, Big Bird sees the box on the curb and assumes theyโ€™re deliveries, so he brings them back inside the store.

Since he's been left in charge of the store, he insists all the paper cups be sent back. The man explains that he's supposed to pick up a box from someone, so Big Bird takes the empty box the plastic cups came from and gives it to the deliveryman.
