Just behind him, Mr. Snuffleupagus comes out of the garage and hopes to meet one of Big Bird's friends today - namely Mr. Hooper. The storekeeper is completely oblivious to Snuffy, who decides to get in front of him to get his attention. It doesn't help as Mr. Hooper decides to cover his head with the newspaper and take a nap. Snuffy leaves to go home for lunch, and Big Bird thanks Mr. Hooper for being nice to his friend. Mr. Hooper denies such a thing as ever happening, believing once again that the Snuffleupagus is imaginary. Big Bird gets angry, saying, "Well, how would you like to have Mr. Snuffleupagus go around and tell everybody there's no such thing as a Mr. Stooper?!" before storming off.
