SCENE 1 Big Bird teaches the viewer about over and through using his front wall. He goes through the front door, but can't find a way to climb over it, even after getting a box to help boost him. He instead tosses a bag of birdseed over the wall, which accidentally knocks the books from David's hands. David angrily goes in to talk about this, inadvertently helping Big Bird by going through the door, then tripping over his box.

Luis finds it hard to concentrate with Big Bird's presence so close, so Big Bird moves down to Hooper's Store, keeping quiet while taking quick glances to the Fix-It Shop. David comes by and becomes baffled by Big Bird's explanation. Big Bird politely asks him keep some distance while he concentrates. David cracks up by Luis, who offers a similar explanation to Big Bird's.
