SCENE 1 David sits down with Cookie Monster to show everyone what he loves to do with cookies. Cookie responds with counting cookies, stacking cookies, and various other activities, before revealing that he loves to tease David... and proceeds to eat the cookies.
Cartoon Jasper thinks that he has lost his elbow, but Julius shows him his elbow by bending his arm.

SCENE 2 Grover is talking about how pleasant everyone on Sesame Street is all the time, when Gordon and Susan start arguing over money on the steps of their apartment building. He starts crying "please don't fight!" until they notice his concern and assure him they're not going to. Grover asks how else they're going to resolve their differences, so Susan suggests she save the money out of her salary for a stereo, while Gordon saves his money for some tires. Grover decides it's a friendly place after all.

SCENE 5 Grover stands in the arbor looking up to Maria's apartment in 123 Sesame Street. He'd like to visit her, but finds that it's too difficult to climb up the escape ladder. Gordon comes along and tells him to just walk around to the front of the building, and use the stairs to get to her front door. As Grover makes his was upstairs, Maria comes by with a newspaper and asks Gordon what movie he recommends she see tonight. Grover appears from her window and gives her instructions on how to get into her apartment.
