He decides to leave the "closed" sign on the door so nobody will bother him as he cleans, but he winds up knocking a glass over and breaks it. When Maria stops by to say hello, David has finally had enough and snaps at her. She leaves, and realizing that his temper has gotten the better of him he apologizes to Maria. She accepts it with a kiss, and David muses, "Well, maybe it won't be such a bad day after all." | |

He asks if he can use Luis' phone; Luis says it's okay, but Big Bird immediately leaves. | |

SCENE 5 | Big Bird returns with one of the posters he and the kids made, advertising his new DIAL-A-BIRD service. Luis tries to tell him that's not what he meant when he said Big Bird could use his phone, but the phone rings with Big Bird's first few customers who all get a little song sung over the phone. Big Bird realizes his mistake when Luis explains how the DIAL-A-BIRD service will interrupt his own business. He leaves as Luis gets frustrated trying to set things straight when more DIAL-A-BIRD customers continue to call. | |
