	SCENE 1	Mr. Hooper asks Luis to help him get into his store when he forgets his keys. As Luis begins to work on the door, Rodeo Rosie lassos him to thwart his breaking and entering. Mr. Hooper explains the situation, Luis finishes his work, and heads to the Fix-It Shop where he discovers he's also misplaced his keys. While trying to get the door open, Rosie lassos him again for making another break-in attempt.
	Cartoon	A cartoon man (Bob Arbogast) is irritated to find that he has a succession of animal noses. (First: Episode 0769)
	Muppets	Sesame Street News Flash: In a take on the "Hey Diddle Diddle" nursery rhyme, Kermit the Frog interviews Natalie the cow and her cat manager as she prepares to jump over the moon. Natalie plans to break the usual cow stereotype by doing this jump. After the cat plays a fanfare on his fiddle, she makes the jump and crash lands back to Earth, where she is praised and congratulated for her jump. (First: Episode 0634)

	Muppets	The Count hires Ernie to answer his phone so that he won't be bothered with calls while he is counting. However, when the phone rings, the Count wants to count the rings, and won't let Ernie pick up the phone until it's too late. "I told you it wouldn't be easy," the Count explains. 	SCENE 2	Luis has made his way into the Fix-It Shop by now, but he's swamped with work. The counter is buried under appliances that need repair, the phone is ringing off the hook, and he has deliveries to make. Maria enters, comments about his workload, and starts to explain how she's always been interested in fixing things, but Luis is too busy to engage.
	SCENE 2, cont'd	He takes another call when Big Bird comes in with a broken clock. With Luis otherwise occupied, Maria takes the clock, fixes it, and hands it back to Big Bird. Luis gets off the phone, notices what's happened and thanks Maria for helping, "I didn't know you knew how to fix things." A kid comes in to ask about his broken wagon wheel, but Luis hasn't gotten to it yet. Before he can protest, Maria fixes the wagon and sends the kid on his way.
	SCENE 2, cont'd	Maria finally has a chance to explain to Luis that she knows he's overworked, she has some free afternoons, and that she knows about fixing things. Luis cuts her off, and tells her she's hired. She shakes his hand and hugs him saying he won't regret it. He asks how she is at fixing bicycles; Maria takes her coat off and begins working right away, immediately relieving some of Luis's stress.

	SCENE 3	The Count has decided to count all the cold people on Sesame Street, so he starts at the Fix-It Shop where he finds Maria and Luis nice and warm inside. Disappointed that he can't count any cold people, he heads over to Hooper's Store where Mr. Hooper opens the window to ask the Count what he can do for him. The Count sees the store filled with people drinking hot chocolate and staying warm. He's shivering by now, and Mr. Hooper asks if he'd like to come in from the cold. The Count, excited now, says he would, but not before he counts the one cold person he could find: himself.

He runs around shouting about the Wubba Wubba Monster coming after him with his two big horns. Big Bird assures him that the Wubba Wubba Monster isn't real and convinces Snuffy to go back to sleep. Snuffy rests his head on Big Bird's lap as he drifts off under the comfort of a warm blanket and the company of his friend.
