SCENE 1 At Hooper's Store, there is a small handful of cookies on a plate. Big Bird allows only one per customer, and cuts off Cookie Monster after he takes one. Cookie is hungry for more cookies, understands that the next person also gets one cookie, and gets an idea.
Cartoon A man slips on his daughter's skate, and she points out that it makes him feel angry.

SCENE 2 Cookie Monster pretends to be Bert, fooling Big Bird into giving him a another cookie. When he pretends to be Susan, the real Susan enters, Cookie makes a run for it, and Susan asks what's been going on. Big Bird tells Susan to take her one cookie, and don't ask.
Celebrity Helen Reddy sings "Grow".

Muppets Ernie & Bert β€” Ernie thinks that he isn't special. Bert tells Ernie to feel his nose -- "That's an Ernie nose!" -- and then feel his hair, and wiggle his fingers. Bert says that nobody else is just like Ernie. Encouraged, Ernie tells the audience to do the same.

Muppets Ernie & Bert β€” Ernie can't sleep, so Bert tells him to count sheep. Ernie tries to count sheep, but it's dull -- so he starts counting fire engines. The noise from the imaginary fire engine wakes Bert up. Bert says that Ernie's waking up the whole neighborhood, and tells him to count something quieter. Ernie counts balloons -- but the balloon gets bigger and bigger, finally bursting with a huge explosion that wakes Bert up again.
