Big Bird goes under the awning to see the sign and starts making sure people avoid the area, unaware of the impending awning that could strike his head. Luis finally rushes out and pulls Big Bird away, just before the awning falls. Big Bird warns him that he needs to put up a sign to steer people away from such a thing.

SCENE 3 Maria brings an old rocking chair home from the Salvation Army. She can't keep the door open long enough to carry the chair through, however. She notices a nearby rock sitting on a pile of newspapers and uses that to prop open the door. Just as she does so, she hears her phone ringing and rushes up to her apartment to answer it. Oscar pops up from his can and notices his favorite rock is gone, which he uses as a paperweight on the newspapers. He sees the rocking chair and thinks it will make a fine substitute.
