Picture Segment Description
SCENE 1 David cleans up Hooper's Store in preparation for a visit from his grandmother, who he hasn't seen in year. Big Bird sees he has much to do and offers to meet her at the bus stop. When the bus arrives, Big Bird stops some passengers as they disembark to see if they fit David's description of his grandmother. The rest of the passengers become rowdy and David comes by to see what the commotion is. He immediately spots his grandmother and they embrace.

Muppets Marshal Grover tries mounting Fred the Wonder Horse using a "run and jump" technique. But every time he gets close, Fred moves away from him, causing onlookers in the saloon to laugh at them. Fred finally explains that he doesn't appreciate the act, as it hurts his back. Grover promises never to run and jump onto his back again, and asks him to roll over so he may do so on his belly.

SCENE 2 David and his grandmother go through some old family photos. Grandma admits that the gifts she's brought for him are better suited to the David she saw last - a young boy (giving him a small shirt, comic books, and a small baseball mitt). Bob brings in the gift David has prepared for Grandma - a rocking chair, which she feels she's not old enough to be using. As David and Bob tend to work, Grandma hangs around to play catch with a child.

Bob and the kids point out how the Grouches are similar and different. Oscar points out one thing they have in common - strong voices to tell people to leave them alone.

Big Bird first describes how he'd get the baby to sleep - by loudly pretending that it's night time. The baby begins crying, so Big Bird tries telling him a joke. Grandma believes the baby might be hungry, so Big Bird offers him some birdseed. Since the baby won't have any, he eats it instead.
