SCENE 1 Big Bird, not having gotten enough sleep, sits on the steps of 123 Sesame Street to take a short nap. He sets an alarm clock next to him, which will go off in a few minutes. Cookie Monster happens by, spies the alarm clock, and eats it. Maria wakes Big Bird up, and Big Bird notices his clock is missing. They search for it, but soon figure out where it went when they hear ticking and ringing every time Cookie opens his mouth. When asked why he ate it, he says it's because he thought it was a toaster.
