SCENE 2 cont'd | Snuffy comes back with his Snuffy Bear and once Big Bird sees him, he goes to tell David and Luis who are now putting their foot down. They decide to give him one last chance, just after Snuffy leaves (having decided he feels more comfortable sleeping in his own bed). They find the Snuffy Bear and excitedly point out that all the physical features Big Bird has described are right there... except for his size. They hand Big Bird the toy and leave. | |

Luis and David explain some things about trees to Sam that are different than machines, and reassure Sam they like him just the way he is. Sam is relieved until he spots a bird (Richard Hunt) starting to build a nest in his fake branches. Sam tries to prove that he's a machine by multiplying 187 by 187, resulting in the bird calling the rest of his family over to live in “a tree that multiplies!” | |
