SCENE 1 | Cookie Monster tells Maria he’s just been hired as a baker's assistant, but he’s wearing his baker’s toque over his eyes (having heard others say it's "chez elegant" to have the fluffy part covering his face). Since he cannot see, he believes he can identify the baker by asking them a series of questions.
SCENE 1 cont'd | As he waits for the baker, a lady (Peter Friedman) comes by with a white coat, who says he helps people feel better. She ends up being a doctor, not a baker. Another person (Sonia Manzano) comes by holding an inner tube, which Cookie Monster assumes is a giant cookie (so he bites it), but this person is a gas station attendant.
SCENE 1 cont'd | A third person (Friedman) comes by, saying that he mixes flour, sugar and milk into dough, then puts it in an oven.
