SCENE 1 | Luis catches David on his way to the mailbox on the corner, and adds some items to David’s already big load since he has to stay at the Fix-it Shop. Susan meets up with David on his trip down the street with her own armful of packages. They both meet a jolly postman (Jerry Nelson) who is new to the job on Sesame Street. He is absolutely thrilled when receiving more of David and Susan's mail, which he adds to his already-bulging mailbag. When he opens the mailbox to empty it, the mailman is met with a torrent of letters and packages which completely engulfs him. David asks if he's all right; the postman couldn't be better - this is the most mail he's ever collected! | |
