- Oscar the Grouch shows a home movie, but it's completely dark; only sounds are heard.
- Mr. Hooper counts tissues, while Herry Monster gets ready to sneeze.
- Ernie & Bert — A tough guy named Tough Eddie accidentally knocks over Bert's sand castle while he's sleeping. Ernie points that out to Eddie, and Eddie tells Ernie, in a threatening tone of voice, that he's "got something" for Bert. It turns out to be an ice cream cone. (First: Episode 0482)
- Kermit's Lectures: Kermit the Frog is about to talk about the letter R, until Cookie Monster karate chops one of the legs off, turning it into a P. When Kermit threatens to tell the monster's mommy, Cookie reassembles the broken letter back to the letter "R". (EKA: Episode 0129)
- David, alone on a desert island, finds a bottle with a genie (Maria) inside it, and wishes for a boat. But Maria keeps mishearing the request and instead gives him a coat and a (live) goat. Finally she gives him a boat ... but it's not the kind of boat he was hoping for. (First: Episode 0499)
- Sesame Street Animal Films: Joe Raposo sings George Gershwin's "Funny Face".
- Cartoon: Countdown series: Three segments end with the rocket flopping over, lifting off early, and the director launching into space instead. (First: Episode 0018)

- Ernie & Bert — Part 1: A disconsolate Ernie tells Oscar the Grouch that he's lost his Rubber Duckie. Oscar tries to calm Ernie down and says that he'll buy Ernie another one. Ernie says he can't - Rubber Duckie is special and unique. He tells Oscar that Rubber Duckie is "cute, adorable, sweet, cuddly, and makes a wonderful sound." Oscar tells Ernie that he'll bring him a new one. (First: Episode 0139)
- Ernie & Bert — Part 2: Oscar comes back with a new Duckie, but this one is different - it's a Grouch duckie. They realize that they have different ideas of what is cute and ugly. Ernie thanks Oscar for trying to help - and when he sits down, he hears a familiar squeak. He digs through the stuff on the floor, and finds his Rubber Duckie! Ernie and Oscar argue over which of their toys is the cutest. (First: Episode 0139)
