	SCENE 1	Big Bird is reading his "Western Tales" book and thinks it might be fun to have lived life as a cowboy. He begins to imagine what it would be like 100 years ago...
	SCENE 1 cont'd	In Big Bird's imagination, Sesame Street is rendered as an old west town named "Sesame Gulch." Big Bird makes himself into a bad hombre named "Bad Bird," fastest wing in the West. Two miners (one played by writer Joseph A. Bailey) flee in terror as he moseys over to "Hooper's Canteena." Inside, Bob is the bartender, while Maria and David look on. They become frightened when Bad Bird enters and become fearful when Bob reveals he's unable to make his usual birdseed float. As they head for the exit, Big Bird freezes the scene, feeling tired of everyone treating him like the bad guy. He changes into a good guy - Sheriff Matt Bird, who everyone commends for ridding the town of Bad Bird. However, Bad Bird (still played by Big Bird) returns to exact revenge on the sheriff. Just as things looks tense...
	SCENE 1 cont'd	...the scene returns to Big Bird on Sesame Street, having fallen asleep while daydreaming. David and Maria check on him and he runs off to hide from Bad Bird.
	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Ernie plays doctor and makes Bert be the patient for his check-up. He checks Bert's heart, mouth and more. At the end, Bert wonders how he is feeling, but Ernie can't tell him that until he's a real doctor, twenty-three years from now. Bert faints after Ernie's answer and Ernie wonders if there's a doctor in the house. (First: Episode 0937)

	SCENE 2	Big Bird has a movie camera and wants to direct his own film. He hires David and Maria to be his actors, instructing them to act sad. Joking with their director, the two instead act glad, then mad. Big Bird gets in front of the camera to show them how it's done. David commends Big Bird's performance of sadness, which he then reveals wasn't acting at all - he's realized he forgot to put film in the camera.

	SCENE 3	Maria readies herself for a date with David by Oscar's trash can. Oscar wonders why she has to talk about David all the time, and she suspects he might be jealous. Oscar says he doesn't like anybody, while Maria tells him that she likes different people for different reasons, even Grouches like him. Oscar admits that he might take her to the movies himself if she could cater to his interests more (by not bathing and eating an onion). He leaves to break some dishes, when David arrives. Maria tells him about her encounter and David asks why she always has to talk about Oscar.

	SCENE 4	Bob strolls past Oscar's can, which is affixed with a sign reading, "Oscar's Argument Boutique." Oscar accepts small change in exchange for an argument, but Bob has little interest in such, no matter how much prodding Oscar does. During this, Oscar tends to various call-in customers to have a brief argument with them. He finally fields a call from someone looking to reach Bob, but he hangs up. Bob slaps down a nickel to have it out with Oscar now.
