After waking from their Hooby Pods, Iver, Tula, and Groove start their day; Iver checks on the Motorettes, Tula picks Hoobnips for a tart, and Groove searches the Hoobnet for "soft and squidgy" things. When Tula wonders how many Hoobnips she needs, Groove asks, "How do Tiddlypeeps find things out?" Hubba Hubba appears and announces that's a fantabihooby question for today's Hoob News.
The Hoobs learn that Tiddlypeeps often discover things by playing. When Groove gets a delivery of blue modeling dough (and Iver chases him around the Hoobmobile), they wonder how else Tiddlypeeps find things out. Iver visits two Tiddlypeeps, who ask him several questions about who the Hoobs are and why they're on Peep Planet, revealing that Tiddlypeeps learn by asking lots of questions — the same way Hoobs do.
Back on the Hoobmobile, Roma calls in from a school, drinking a fizzy drink to test if it gives her the Hoobyhics like Hoobofizz does. She reports that Tiddlypeeps similarly conduct tests to figure things out, and Iver suggests Groove test if he can make something with his dough.
Hubba Hubba shows a story about Boffin the Big Book, an encyclopedia that its owners never used. Tula is inspired to read her cookbook to determine if Hoobofizz would be good in her tart, while Groove finishes his sculpture of Hubba Hubba. Iver, Tula, and Groove then sing a song about how great Tiddlypeeps are.
Finally, the Hoobs wonder if Tiddlypeeps also use the computer to find things out, and they set off once more in their Hoobmobile. Groove meets two Tiddlypeeps who confirm they do, and soon, it's time for Hoob News, during which they recount the episode's events.
