SCENE 2 Big Bird sets up his nest to have a dinner party with Mr. Snuffleupagus and Buffy, giving a grown-up a chance at last to finally meet him. As Buffy makes her way to the nest, Gordon, Susan, and Luis find the idea utterly silly.

SCENE 3 It's been a half-hour since the agreed-upon meeting time and Snuffy still hasn't shown up yet. Big Bird thinks he'll never show up and decides to cancel the whole event. He's upset now that nobody will ever believe him. Buffy tells him that if he believes Snuffy is real, she does too, and she begins to sing "I Believe." Big Bird helps her imagine what he looks like, then joins in the song. Afterwards, he declares Buffy as his best friend (or co-best friend alongside Snuffy).
Cartoon A pirate has his mate dig for treasure, which is buried between two trees. The mate doesn't know what between means. He finally gets the message, but a parrot makes off with the treasure.

SCENE 4 Buffy goes back home, just before Snuffy arrives; Big Bird told him to come at eight o'clock by mistake. The two start to dig into the cabbage soup Big Bird had ready. Buffy encounters Gordon and Susan, who rib her about meeting Snuffy. She stuns them by describing him just as Big Bird did.
Muppets OPEN the Door: Part 1: Harvey Kneeslapper hangs an "OPEN" sign on a closet and has filled it with so many toys that when somebody opens it, all of the toys in the closet will fall on that person. A girl opens the closet, but none of the toys fall out. When Harvey opens it after she leaves, they fall all over him.
