Moya is infested with bugs called Draks. John Crichton tries to negotiate with the queen, who is called Monarch, since the nest she has requires Moya to be as hot as possible. This threatens the survival of both Moya and the crew, particularly Aeryn Sun who, as a Sebacean, is susceptible to heat delirium.
However, a commando group of Peacekeepers sneaks on board and threatens the agreement between the crew and the Monarch.
