"A Story Short" was the only episode of The StoryTeller that focused on the Storyteller as the main character. The Storyteller was to tell a king 365 different stories, one for each day of the year, or be boiled by a cook. On the final day, with no story, a mysterious beggar gives him a story he will never forget.
