When Tula returns from picking rocks outside to make friendship stones, Iver and Groove greet her with a Hoobledigger. This prompts Groove to ask, "How do Peeps say hello to their friends when they're really pleased to see them?"

Hubba Hubba shares the story of Queen Violet, a lonely and bored monarch who always had everything done for her. She finally finds joy and purpose when she teaches an old dressmaker how to curtsy, and from then on, happily curtsies to everyone herself. Although Tula likes curtseying, she realizes there must be a less formal way of greeting, so the Hoobs have a "Hooby Think" on it.

Groove, who likes the way dogs greet each other, decides to make a tail, but Iver tells him to go speak with the Tiddlypeeps. Groove learns many ways in which Peeps say hello, but he forgets to ask how they specifically say hello to their friends.

Roma reports from a rugby match in New Zealand, telling the Hoobs about the haka. They still don't think that's the friendliest way to say hello, and they sing a song about Hooblediggers. Groove goes back out to talk with some Tiddlypeeps and learns about hugging.

Back at the Hoobmobile, Groove teaches Iver and Tula how to hug. Before Hoob News, Tula gives them the friendship stones she's been working on, and affixes Groove's tail to his back.
