SCENE 1 | Buffy leaves Cody in the corner of the yard to take his nap in the shade and sits down with Big Bird to see if there's anything they'd like to do together like they used to before she had a baby. Big Bird makes a few suggestions that aren't appropriate to do while a baby naps, each time making jealous remarks to himself in his head.
Buffy says she can sing him a song, but she has to do so quietly. She plays "I'm Gonna Be a Country Girl" on her guitar, but Big Bird joins in very loudly, prompting Buffy to suggest he's being grouchy on purpose. In his head again, Big Bird decides that's exactly what he's going to do: today, he'll be just like Oscar the Grouch. | |

From inside, Big Bird answers and tells them to scram. She knocks again and Big Bird emerges, explaining that he may as well live here now because nobody loves him and he can't do anything right.
