	SCENE 1	Bob and Linda wait for her father Andy to arrive for a visit; Bob is especially eager to show off how much sign language he's learned since the last time he came to Sesame Street. Andy (Andy Vasnick) finally arrives at the bus stop and Bob tries to sign how he's been learning sign language, but Linda and Andy crack up for some reason. Linda corrects him on how to sign the word for "signing," and Andy reveals to Bob that he was saying "I am learning spaghetti" instead.

	SCENE 3	Big Bird watches Linda conversing with two deaf children (Brian and Shawn) in sign language nearby. He tries to tell Bob from his apartment window that it's a bit of a shame that they can't hear each other when they communicate. Bob and Big Bird have a difficult time trying to communicate over the cacophony of traffic, construction sounds, and other city noises around them, but Linda and the kids have no such trouble.
	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Bert says that he's going to demonstrate quiet by talking quietly to Ernie. But when he tries, Ernie claims that he can't hear what Bert is saying. Finally, Bert gets frustrated and shouts at Ernie; Ernie tells Bert not to be so loud. (First: Episode 0150)

	SCENE 4	Bob finds Andy reading out near Hooper's Store. He wants to tell him something and nervously strikes up a conversation, asking how one would sign, "I think it's going to rain." Andy suspects Bob has something more important he'd like to say, and Bob rapidly blurts his feelings for his daughter and how much he likes her. Andy can't keep up with Bob and asks him to slow down, but when Bob speaks again all that comes out is, "...I think it's going to rain," before he sheepishly leaves.

Bob and Maria remind him that birds don't even have teeth, so there's no worry about brushing them. Big Bird is relieved, then rushes off when he remembers to brush his beak instead.
