SCENE 1 At Mr. Hooper, Bob and Luis get ready to dig into their hot cereal. However, Bob likes his with butter and salt, and Luis likes his with sugar and milk. They both think the other's way of serving it is absurd, until they take a taste of the other's. They find they like it so much they swap bowls.

As he starts to cry, the adults call him over, having been waiting for him this entire time. They tell him that they sent someone over to get him earlier, but he was asleep. Big Bird is pleased that they've left the entire top open for him to paint.

SCENE 3 Big Bird has plans to see a lecture at the Audubon Bird Society with Luis at two o'clock, but he knows that he always has trouble remembering when to meet up with people. So, he decides to find a mnemonic device to help him remember. He produces a shoe, as it rhymes with "two." He thinks it might not be enough to help and starts looking for something else. Outside the doors, Luis waits for Big Bird and decides to poke his head in to see if he's ready. Big Bird cancels their plans, having brought out dozens of other rhyming objects that he now must put away.
Muppets Sesame Street News Flash: Don Music tries to write "Mary Had a Little Lamb", but he can't come up with a word that rhymes with "snow". Kermit suggests that Don try another angle, which leads to Don writing the hit song "Mary Had a Bicycle." Don sings the song, with back-up vocals from the Monotones.
